Pigadia (Karpathos stad). Het havenplaatsje Pigadia (of Karpathos-stad) is de hoofdstad van eiland Karpathos. Het ligt aan een schitterende baai met een langgerekt strand en vlak naast een rotsachtige heuvel.. Er is ook een gezellige boulevard. Pigadia is nog niet overspoeld door het massatoerisme, maar er is wel toerisme. Toch blijft het.
